The Mantuan String Quartet is made up of experienced and accomplished musicians who play to a high standard, yet are friendly, approachable and flexible to the requests of their clients.
The quartet has played in most of the country houses and wedding venues surrounding Bristol, as well as many other prestigious venues and numerous private houses. They are equally at ease playing for formal business functions in a grand setting or an informal celebratory garden party in a private garden. The quartet is based near Bristol and has played for many events in Bristol, Bath, Clevedon, the Mendips, Somerset, the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, the South West and South Wales.

Why Mantuan? Bob, the leader of the quartet, plays on a very nice 18th century Italian violin. The experts are unable to attribute the violin to a specific maker, but agree that is was probably made in the town of Mantua, Italy - hence the name Mantuan Quartet.
